Job Description
As an Event Manager at PACIFIC, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's presence at both international and Domestic events. Your responsibilities will include identifying relevant events, securing booth spaces, negotiating with vendors, overseeing booth fabrication, and ensuring effective sampling and execution of the event. You will be a key player in showcasing our stone products and building connections within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning: Research and identify relevant international and Indian events related to the stone industry. Evaluate each event’s potential in aligning with the company’s marketing and sales objectives. Coordinate with event organizers to secure prime booth spaces. Negotiate terms and pricing to maximize the company’s presence while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Vendor Negotiation: Collaborate with vendors for booth fabrication, sampling materials, and decoration. Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality services.
- Design and Execution: Oversee the design and fabrication of booths, ensuring they align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies. Coordinate with vendors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Sampling: Plan and execute booth decoration to attract visitors and showcase the company’s products effectively. Arrange product samples for display, ensuring they are presented in an appealing and accessible manner.
- Event Logistics: Coordinate logistics such as shipping, setup, and teardown of booth materials. Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available for successful participation in events.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, vendors, and industry contacts. Represent the company professionally at events, fostering positive connections with attendees and potential clients.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring expenses are kept within approved limits. Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or impact.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in event management, preferably in the stone or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging booth layouts and decorations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and representing the company professionally.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for events as required.
