Job Description
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PACIFIC, you will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial leadership and driving the company's overall financial strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, treasury, and risk management. With your expertise and vision, you will contribute to the company's growth and profitability in the stone industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its
overall business objectives and growth plans. Provide strategic financial guidance and
recommendations to the CEO and executive team. - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the financial planning and analysis process,
including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Provide insightful analysis of
financial performance, trends, and key metrics to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. - Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (GAAP/IFRS) and provide transparency into the company’s financial health.
- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and support operational needs. Develop and implement strategies for cash management, debt financing, and capital allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks facing the company, including market risks, credit risks, and operational risks. Implement effective risk management strategies and internal controls to safeguard company assets and interests.
- Investment Management: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions to maximize returns and shareholder value. Monitor and manage investments, including capital expenditures, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other
financial stakeholders. Communicate financial performance, strategies, and objectives to
shareholders and other stakeholders. - Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop and mentor finance professionals to build a high-performing and engaged team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive, preferably in the stone or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated success in financial leadership roles, with a track record of driving financial performance and business growth.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws (GAAP/IFRS).
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, risk management, and investment analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial management software.
